Good for both of those schools to finally be playing in the upper division. They've played better than a good chunk of teams already in FBS. Good luck this year. 04-cheers

Thanks man. We are really happy too. A lot of challenges this year for the Apps... hoping we win 5 home games and pick one or two up on the road. We have a tough schedule for a team they came off of a 4 win FCS season, but I have a lot of faith in our program and it's history.

Thanks again!

Good luck, fellas!

I appreciate the paths you have taken to FBS, winning multiple FCS titles each.

Doesn't surprise me that a Knight would show such class. I was hesitant to move up originally thinking that the move would be lateral at best. This until a visit to Orlando when I was blown away by the passion shared by several college students attending a cook out at the family lake house. The knowledge they had of the Sun Belt and CUSA at the time was impressive and was a far cry from the norm at the FCS level. Never once was a P5 brought up. These young people seemed to care less about their conference, only the competition. From my view at the time it seemed to be the "big time". Best of luck to the Knights!

I agree! It's great to see GaSo and App State in FBS. I have no doubt they will both be serious players in the Sun Belt (and G5, for that matter) in very short order. The programs have way too much history on their side. I hope we schedule H+H with each of you in the near future. Our rivalry with App State, in particular, was good one and I think it could be again. I'll be rooting for both of you (as long as you're not playing a C-USA school, of course.)

Thanks. Remember many a trip to Huntington, sometimes in the snow to see the other end of some of those Marshall -vs- App State games. Glad to see MU on the uptick and probable king of CUSA for many years to come. Fighting it out on the football field would make for some more great games with fantastic attendance.

Thanks, we're excited too. Give us a couple of years and hopefully we can stay competitive and make our conference proud. Good luck to the Knights this season. I really hope we can rekindle the Marshall rivalry. Good luck to the Herd this year as well.

Thanks for the nice words, I've been wanting for years to renew games against UCF, ECU, Marshall and Troy. And finally one of these teams will be back on our schedule.

I hope to see the other three sooner than later!

Thanks for the kind words. My wife just took a Director position at UCF so we've adopted the 'Knights! Knights! Knights!'

OT but that TX map for CUSA all has to be moved counter clockwise 45 degrees.

Classy post, thanks. I'm glad they had confidence in the Belt to give them their first FBS football homes.
