I have to wonder if the league is getting this demanding, they see some plateauing or lean years swiftly ahead. Because this is ridiculous, even if it's nothing compared to the IOC or FIFA (it's a shame an American organization can look to those international crooks and think their operations are emulating).

It's not overly surprising, though. I mean, the league is just a reflection of its ownership, and if they can appoint an ***hat like Goodell, who pretty much comes right out and says it has the right to do whatever it wants in terms of season length and preseason crap, while doing all of this other goofy crap, maybe the real problem isn't the NFL's greed, but what kind of people own these teams to expect this of anyone, including their own host cities?
