Alternate or permanent helmet? Not sure I'd like chrome for a permanent helmet. You guys should've gone with the same design minus the chrome.

Likely permanent, although I'm sure there'd be a variation for a bowl game. I like the chrome look, personally.

I think it would look better with a Green Matte finish.

I have grown fond of the Matte style paint. I do like the design, and the chrome isn't bad for a game or two.

I'd like to see Marshall go that route. The M on the helmet is really not that great. I would like to see marshall written on them, or a modern marco beanie logo.

I think Marco busting out of a outline of the state might be cool at least maybe for a game or two.

We wore them for our football centennial throwbacks at the first homegame in 2013.



I think the helmets were auctioned off after the game. I recall the public reaction was "Awesome, I loved that logo!" and "That looks like a dick with wings."
