Would it be possible to create some sort of notification system where if a user quotes a post that contains a post that belongs to you, then you'd receive a message, or something similar to the Banner that appears on the screen once you do receive a message. This could be turned on or off.

Yes, but the website does not. I use the app, but not everyone does.
