2004 and 2005 (0-22). But that sounds awful the way you ask it lol.

Since 2010 the MAC is 8-42, basically winning 1 out of every 6 match-ups and essentially comes out to 2-10 every season.

8-42 is a .160 winning percentage. Not very good. But how does it break down between road and home games?

RE: MAC vs. B10
The sad part of that is NIU has three of those wins

2010 over Minnesota
2014 over Iowa and Purdue

Need some others to get involved with this victories. I know a lot of games have been close, but MAC needs to start winning some of the close ones.

I don't have high hopes for BSU going into Kinnick with a QB starting his 2nd game ever.

I could see NIU, Western and BG winning.

RE: MAC vs. B10
MAC v B1G since 1998-

Akron (0-16)
- Home (0-1) / Away (0-15)

Ball State (3-11)
- Home (0-1) / Away (2-10) / Neutral (1-0)

Bowling Green (4-10)
- Home (0-2) / Away (3-8) / Neutral (1-0)

Buffalo (0-5)
- Home (0-0) / Away (0-5)

Central Michigan (3-19)
- Home (0-2) / Away (3-16) / Neutral (0-1)

Eastern Michigan (0-17)
- Home (0-1) / Away (0-16)

Kent State (0-10)
- Home (0-1) / Away (0-9)

Miami (2-15)
- Home (0-2) / Away (2-13)

Northern Illinois (4-15)
- Home (0-1) / Away (4-12) / Neutral (0-2)

Ohio (3-8)
- Home (0-1) / Away (3-7)

Toledo (4-7)
- Home (1-1) / Away (3-5) / Neutral (0-1)

Western Michigan (3-21)
- Home (1-1) / Away (2-19) / Neutral (0-1)

MAC Total (26-154)
- Home (2-14) / Away (22-135) / Neutral (2-5)

For some perspective, here's the MAC's records vs the B1G from '98-'13 compared to Indiana's and Illinois' records vs the B1G in that same time frame. Keep in mind that Ind and Ill played 50% of their games on the road where the MAC played 87%.

Record vs B1G, 1998-2013
0.144 (26-154) MAC
0.227 (29-99) Indiana
0.305 (39-89) Illinois

RE: MAC vs. B10
Splitting hairs, NIU has never had a big ten team in DeKalb. It should be 0-0 at home and 0-3 neutral.

It's also nice to see those 4 wins, because they are 4-4 in last 8 big ten games as opposed to their 0-9 start to that time frame.

RE: MAC vs. B10
BG is 0-1 at home, vs Minnesota
1-1 neutral site lost in Cleveland vs Wisconsin, beat NW in Motor City bowl

Away wins: Beat NW at NW in regular season, 9/11 make up game, beat a ranked Purdue team and a bad Minnesota team. Corrected another Purdue win was long ago.

Away losses: Lost to Wisconsin, OSU twice, Michigan twice, MSU, Indiana. Add Penn St. so yes 4-10.

RE: MAC vs. B10
the site I pulled this data from only lists post season games as Neutral, neutral site regular season games listed based on designated home and away team so actual number of home games less than 16.

You think WMU beats Purdue but not CMU?

My apologies. I didn't see that they both played Purdue. I could see CMU beating Purdue also and probably ahead of Western. Both can do it, though.

That's not true either. NIU has played 3 Soldier Field games against the Big Ten as the home team. They're either 0-3 at home, or 0-3 neutral.
