Crime and poverty. Bossier City, La has one area that lives in poverty. I have to wait a week before I can look at the new jail bookings because the crime rate here is extremely low. Four homicides in 2011 drove the average murder rate up 300%, and one of those was a triple homicide. Just across the Red River is Shreveport, La. Off the top of my head, no pun intended, I can name four areas that white cops won't even drive through. If you're white, you don't really want to be in any part of West Shreveport. Oddly enough, it's the most run down part of Shreveport, and it's got the highest rate of crime.
So we can speak the truth, but if we do then we're discriminate and racist. Such a fair bunch of people yall are.

If you caught the Chris Hayes audio, Tom... You'd say that MSNBC deserved to be gone after (at least Hayes anyway). He, his cameraman, and a few media people around him got pelted with rocks, and Hayes went with a "they're just angry" response as if that excused the protestors who did get violent.
(again, I differentiate between the protestors, the instigators, and the looters).
As for Sharpton, I heard Pat and Stu say it best... Sharpton's the one that's seemed reasonable among the incoming people.. especially when compared with Jesse Jackson.
