Yep, he said it and was promptly suspended from the FPD. I'm sure he might have been goaded into reacting that way. But he has to not react in that manner.

He wasnt' one of the Ferguson PD.. He was from neighboring St. Ann (one of those districts that did loan out soem officers.)
But I don't think anyone disagrees.. he went over the line and deserves to be suspended.

journalists secretly love it when they become part of the story. this single curse word is a perfect example. it's just a bigger story when they can involve themselves.
another example was the foley execution. yes, it was pure evil. yes, it was absolutely barbaric. yes, we should grease everyone that even remotely had anything to do with it. BUT, it was a much bigger story because it was a journalist. it was "one of them". hateful terrorist whackjobs have cut "normal" Americans' heads off before, and it wasn't this big of a story. this thing is playing huge in all MSM outlets.
RE: Ferguson cop to journalist: "I will f***ing kill you."
Whose fault is it that the protests got so out of hand that cops needed to carry automatic rifles to protect themselves? The protestors escalated to that level and now they don't like it. F 'em. The cops didn't point a gun at me because I'm not out there like an asswipe and I have to work manana.
RE: Ferguson cop to journalist: "I will f***ing kill you."
Wow, some of you.
Did he f***ing kill the guy? No, but he pointed an M4 at his (and everyone else's on the street) chests for no reason, with the apparent proficiency of a f***king 5 year old. Not only unprofessional, but dangerous as all get out.
The quoting of "journalists" makes you look like Dianne Feinstein, who wants to pick and choose who to give 1st amendment protection to. Teleprompter reader of the state's narrative = journalist. Those in the street gathering the real story = not journalist. Got it.

Yeah, he shouldn't have done that, he was wrong. But did the cop even have bullets in the gun? My brother once posted guard duty in Germany after the disco bombing and they wouldn't give him bullets with the thought that the sight of a gun was enough to stop the bad guys.
People are protesting now for what, 12 days? It can't be expected that everyone responding to it won't be stressed or that in all that time one cop won't mess up.

You're naive as hell if you think they're rolling around with empty magazines, but irregardless, that brings us back to the basic rules of safe gun handling -- you treat every gun as if it were loaded.
There was no threat, he just wanted to play Commando. He's a buffoon, and a prime example of the emerging police state, Constitution and civil liberties be damned.

Not naïve, I've already seen it happen with my brother being the best example. And if the cops have full clips, then they think these protestors are more than protestors. It says they've been briefed that there are potential killers out there and their lives could be in danger.

I guess he should have ******* killed him, then.
this has been a made for TV event since the second night. if the tv guys were to go the hell home, this thing would end 15 minutes later. if the cops are frazzled at the MSM for perpetuating this artificial "riot", then I, for one, understand their frustration.

I dont condone the actions of the officer. In the Marines we were taught how to carry a weapon out in the combat field, if there wasn't any threat, we would carry nonchalant, if there was some threat, we would carry it in a 45 degree angle, pointing it at the ground, if there was imminent danger, we would carry it at a 90 degree angle, pointing towards the enemy.

Bingo, and you don't have to be in the Marines to know that. I'm pretty sure all of our fathers taught us the same thing, at least theoretically.
A journalist (or "journalist", whatever) with a camera is not an instance where you should have your weapon at 90 degrees, much less sweeping the entire freakin' street.
