What would have happened to that Cop if no one was videotaping?

Probably the same thing that happened to all those people responsible for the unsolved murders in Chicago.

So in other words, they would blame another white cop and fire him?

Yeah, but if they dropped it then they might have to cover something unflattering to Obama in its place.

Let me be clear, cop was out of line here. I'm not debating that point.

What the cop did was wrong and should be punished for it.

At the same time, there is a whole lot of truth to this:

It makes you wonder if this is just an isolated incident or commonplace in St. Louis.

I maintain most of them are good guys. The problem is they do not "purge" their own. They cover the asses of the bad cops. I have never understood the mentality of the thin blue line.

Love when people who support small government blindly support those that allow big government to continue on.

He was definitely out of hand, especially considering the current situation at hand in that city. You gotta learn when to say things and when not to. I bet that journalist was agitating him too.

Plus, that cop was from St. Anne's...SUBURBIA. It's probably the first time he has had to draw a weapon. This incident should also make the highway patrol do some kind of vetting of these officers on loan. Maybe more from St.Louis city would be better.

They should probably take crowd control training from the military. The military has more restrictions on what they can do to citizens of other nations.

But us? Psh, the cops can draw their weapons on us whenever. #freedom #america

The cop should be fired.

The little prick that was egging it on, he should've had his a$$ whipped a couple times as a kid, but that's not against the law and the officer was out of line.

And so what happens in the Mike Brown investigation? Are the cops really looking for what really happened or are they looking for a way to protect their own?
