UNT Spirit Night
Just got back from the North Texas Spirit Night, where the marching band and upper classmen led incoming freshmen in a chant practice. Coach Mac spoke and the team interacted with the crowd. It was great to see about 4,000 Mean Green students and fans getting fired up about the upcoming season. Classes start next week.

Do they do this anymore once the season starts, or is it a noe-time/preseason thing? We have "Free Boot Fridays" in Greenville, 5-8 pm the Friday before every home game, with Beer, Wine, Foods, Bands, rides & activities for the kids, etc. Always an enjoyable way to kick off a Home Football Weekend! More Universities should look into doing something such as this, if they don't already do something similar! A great way to get the community involved & ready for GAMEDAY!
