Its a long shot, but the Huskers have been known to sleep on thier opening games and have been scared the last couple of years going deep into the 4th quarter. FAU will have to have a mistake free game to have a shot.

I think Middle can beat Minnesota too! However, I sure would prefer for us to beat BYU at Floyd Stadium. We need a boost in home attendance and that might seal the deal. A Minnesota win while possible may not even be perceived as a Big Upset but knocking off a team like BYU that slaughtered Texas (last year) and has that giant Mormon following would be huge!!!!

Will be interesting to see our Vegas line at Illinois....I am guessing we will be like a 10 point underdog, but I wouldn't consider @Illinois an upset but based on odds I am sure it would be....

An ODU upset win over NC State would be a very strong statement for Monarch football. I just hope the team does not look ahead to the Wolf Pack and forget to show up for Hampton. A season opening loss to ODU's friends across the river would be a disaster of epic magnitude.

North Texas will stun the Longhorns in week one....I honestly think that Rice would have bounced Texas A&M last year if Manziel had to sit out the entire game with a suspension. He won't be there to save them this time, I predict Rice will agonize the Aggies this year...Middle Tennessee will shock Minnesota in week 2...

Hopefully, the Monarchs will take care of business against Hampton. Glad they're starting conference play this year as well, wish that UAB was on this year's schedule. Will be a fun game when that happens.
