Interesting. I knew all about fake watches and purses, but I never thought you could buy a fake Ahamay (lol) motor or a 70 inch LED tv.

You can find this kind of stuff on the internet as well, if you know where to look. I have a little experience with it myself with soccer jerseys. An "authentic" jersey for a professional club team costs around $130 + shipping with a name and number on the back. I outfitted my entire rec team with the same jerseys from Thailand for $20 a piece (free shipping) complete with their name and number on the back. I compared the real thing to the ones I received, and other than the material the nameplate and number were made of, and the pattern of the stitching (only seen from the inside), you can't tell the difference. It's insane.

A lot of these "fake" items are made at the same factories, its just that batches that weren't of the right quality get sold on the side instead of getting destroyed. I've always wondered how any company that values its brand can do business with China and other far eastern countries. Yeah, production is cheaper but you loose money sales, cheapens the brand and really there is not a whole lot of recourse on the matter.
