Reporters in Missouri have tallied up stories from at least 12 witnesses who back the account of Ferguson police officer Darren Wilson, who shot Michael Brown, 18, last week.

Still, a civil rights verdict against Wilson could subject him to execution under federal law.

The DOJ is conducting interviews with an eye toward determining if a federal case will be made of the shooting, regardless of whether the state of Missouri charges Wilson with murder or manslaughter.

It’s conceivable that he might not be charged for killing the teen, but still face a trial in federal court for violating his civil rights.

This is insanity. Really.

Holder will be doing one of two things tomorrow: Assigning a special prosecutor like in Trayvon Martin's case or doing damage control.

They will do Whatever gets the Black Vote out in November. That's what really drives this Cr*p anyway.Labor Day is just around the corner to launch campaign season.

In order to begin the healing process, however, we must first see an end to the acts of violence in the streets of Ferguson. Although these acts have been committed by a very small minority — and, in many cases, by individuals from outside Ferguson — they seriously undermine, rather than advance, the cause of justice. And they interrupt the deeper conversation that the legitimate demonstrators are trying to advance.

The Justice Department will defend the right of protesters to peacefully demonstrate and for the media to cover a story that must be told. But violence cannot be condoned. I urge the citizens of Ferguson who have been peacefully exercising their First Amendment rights to join with law enforcement in condemning the actions of looters, vandals and others seeking to inflame tensions and sow discord. ~ Attorney General Eric Holder

Too bad for guinea pig Wilson; the Feds will find/conjure up/create a civil rights violation case against him. The guy is toast. Lesson for police - let black suspects, or even known criminals, be dealt with by black officers. That's the safest route to take.

Or just look the other way and let the black suspect walk. Yeah, it means you aren't fully enforcing the law and damn sure ain't doing your job, but why deal with the added federal scrutiny?

I don't think so. I think the ole Missouri home boys may have out maneuvered all of them.
