I can agree.
During Katrina if people had looted food, water, and supplies, I wouldn't had been aggrevated.. But looting TVs, sneakers, Gucci bags, that tends to go above the whole needs vs wants argument.
I am not a liberal...but, I think people do this for the same reason a child throws a temper tantrum. It's just a way to get attention. Many people use it as an opportunity to get free stuff. Sometimes those two groups are the same.
The reason why they don't go to the other side of town is because those people would not put up with it. So, they stay in their neighborhood where the police are more likely to allow them to do their thing.
In the end, whatever grievances they have are overshadowed by the utter lawless behavior.
You all three are correct. But the government has created this type of people. Not one of these individuals are self reliant, intelligent or responsible for themselves or anyone else.
They will use any excuse to either act like a child or an animal. But think about it, if you don't "own" anything of your own, or if you haven't worked and earned anything, why would you care about stealing or damaging other peoples things or property.

I'm surprised one of the looters hasn't been shot yet. Maybe they would pause if shop owners started fighting back against the cowards.

Can't do that. The larger companies have policies against guns. The mom and pop owners usually live close by and could face retribution from the community. Very stupid, but that is mob think.

Well that and the looter would sue, probably win, and get all the shop owners stuff anyway.

They never had $h1t, not much hope, opportunity, school sucks, jobs suck, neighborhood sucks, etc. (This was all before Obama). They feel like taking somebody else's stuff will make them feel better. It's a human emotion not a liberal one.

After being convicted on tv. "Wealthy shop owner shoots future college kid and church member when he ventures into store and moves merchandise"

So, no personal responsibility whatsoever? Typical.

Either that or they'll say he found it and was returning it...
Now I know why this stuff doesn't happen in small towns. Everyone has a gun.

Responsible for what? An absolutely ****** going no where life? What's the motivation?

Combine that with the fact that there appears to be no recourse for
such actions makes it not only justifiable in their minds, but downright fun.
It's funny but you just described Browns actions in that store before he got shot.

Nope.
That's a long way away.
Getting a job must be a really blah thought. Who wants to earn money so that you don't have to steal $4 dollars worth of nicotine anyways... That's for the responsible people that aren't oppressed. Yeah.
