You have to keep in mind that these "rankings" of Marshall have everything to do with their weak schedule and nothing to do with the fact that these people actually think they are the best "G5" team. These guys love to have their egos stroked when it comes to being correct on their preseason rankings. So they look for teams like Marshall that have very weak scheduled and could make a run at a 10 or 11 win season and being ranked at the end of the year. Then they can tout how "accurate" their predictions are.

Marshall has a pretty good team but if they were playing a couple of tough out of conference teams and playing in the AAC they would not be getting anymore preseason love than many of the other pretty good "G5" teams.

Marshall's SOS is terrible.

If any of us win our OOC games, we jump them pretty easily.

I would call Marshall's schedule the weakest in the history of modern Division 1 football (post 1978)

LOL... The better programs leave CUSA and all of the sudden Marshall is better then everyone in this league.

lot of quality transfers from what I understand. (SEC & ACC caliber transfer players)
They do have some talent....but their schedule is so bad....that no one will pay any serious attention to them because of it

Don't mind him he just has an AAC hate boner.

Marshall's schedule is not completely their fault; Marshall over the year's has stepped out and played better OOC opponents for there lot in life than many other schools. If they run the table, let's see what happens.

The better programs who left CUSA than always recruited and gotten the upper transfers, and are still doing so now.

All I'm saying, you place Marshall in this league and I guarantee you they will lose 4-6 games... Again... Not sy'n... Just sy'n

I wish C-USA would just go away and take all those crap teams with them. They are not in our league, Marshall is not even a top 100 team with that weak schedule. This is getting out of hand but it will all rectify itself when Marshall gets beat in week 1.

Ucf would beat Marshall by 17 points, at least.
