Boy the season can't start soon enough. All the BS about USF fans on meltdown mode about this topic is being melodramatic. If USF wins no one will care what they have on the back of their uniform. It's all about wins and loses.

You've got it all wrong. They're Wide Receivers not Tight Ends. For them this is all a form of advertising. It reminds me of the story about the aquarium worker who popped her period in the middle of the Shark Tank. You're bound to get some attention.

Thats why it was so embarrassing PR stunt...as every team received the NCAA Notice about "names on jerseys" back on August 6, 2014.

You don't do a PR stunt of something that would cost your team 4 timeouts per game because you didn't read your mail/email.

Hey, at least that idiotic idea by former UCF AD Keith Tribble's "buddy" wasn't against NCAA Rules (but it should have been).

Can't fix stupid...and sadly, for UCF, thats what they got when Tribble hired his totally unqualified friends.

I would expect to find something as cliche as "The Team" on a Pop Warner uniform, not an FBS uniform. Glad they got nixed. No name on the jersey says "team" without having to say it. Although, personally, I can go either way, having names on the shirts or not.

Nothing. They won't have it on the back of the jersey.

The season send future of WT and USF football will be determined by on the field result this season.
