RE: QB decision???
Who is our best returning player, and will the coach kick him off of the team to make a point?

Oh, and I thought Austin Brown was going to be the QB...

(just kidding).

RE: QB decision???
I have it on good authority, from a source inside the organization (math class), ______________ [insert name here] is a definite "go" as the starter...

RE: QB decision???
The new coaching staff has two or more new QBs who have not seen any action in a real game. My guess is that FBHC Clark will start Clement, the more experienced one, and see how he fares. Based upon the demonstrated result, he will then decide about using another QB later in the game. I hope we get to see them all play as that would indicate success.

There is little doubt, Clements is the starter for now.

I'm as much as an optimist as anyone here. I was just pointing out that yours wasn't the only possible scenario where all our QBs would play.

I think you will see Clements start and JB thrown in for a change of pace. I think you will see them and MM in the A&M game.

Yep, A&M will be a great game for playing time. No offense to A&M, but we should beat them like a drum.

A school like us needs those type of games to get valuable PT for young guys and older guys you are trying to develop. I know everyone hates them but I'll be honest I wish we had two of them. At least until we build our program where we want it. It's not like we are worried about RPI.

Only one counts for bowl eligibility. That would be me issue with 2.

RE: QB decision???
I meant cupcakes. My bad. You could do one I-AA and then get the worst DI team out there, (No it's not us) and beat their doors in.

That said the rules have changed in that you CAN play two FCS teams and they BOTH COUNT towards bowl eligibility but if you have the same record as a team that played only one FCS school they would get the nod over you. Also for the FCS school to count it must give 63 scholarship equivalents over a two-year period which rules out such leagues as the Ivy, Patriot, and Pioneer for example.

In a nut shell If you finish 6-6 you can count two qualifying FCS teams but if someone else finishes 6-6 with no FCS or only one they get the nod over you.

Yeah I know there are all kinds of if thems for bowl eligibility, I just don't want us to have to play that game.

And yeah, if we can get Idaho to come play us, I'm all for it. What's in it for them?

Highlights are misleading especially when it comes to throwing the ball. But, this guy has some serious wheels and elusiveness when the play breaks down.

The one for briscoe I found was much shorter and from 2011. May the best guy win. Either way i think we will be in a better position then last year with either qb. Unless Troy has made significant strides I like our chances on August 30th. GO BLAZERS

Idaho gets to do a lot of traveling to the Southeast now to play their Sun Belt conference schedule. Troy has to go to Idaho this year. It's hilarious.

Exactly. We're a confident lot for a team that has three FBS wins (one vs. a 1-11 team and another one vs. an 0-12 team) in the past two years.

We lost 3 games last year on literally the last snap of the ball. We were bad, but not as bad as coaching made us look.
