RE: Football Position Previews: SAM Linebackers
Since we have seen ILB's & SAM's, do we have the JACK's & OLB's to go?

I think JACK and SAM are the OLBs. JACK should be next. I remember coach explaining this before, but I can't remember how it goes. If you look at the roster, there is a small number assigned to SAM, a small group at JACK and a large group at ILB. So it kind of makes sense. 03-drunk

At least I know SAM usually stands for Strong Side LB.

Yep, Jack more DE/LB and Sam more LB/Saf which makes me believe thats the spot McCullum should play instead of ILB similar to K. Jackson and Challenger LB/Saf tweeners.

Last year we called them JACK, WILL, MIKE and BUCK. Obviously this defense is different. Which could be a good thing. LOL

I think buck was the other inside LB spot to lazy to look it up its probably still on the official site from a depth chart. Any word on XDCJW and how he's doing?
