RE: Wow..just, wow!
Temple was a stronger team last year than their record shows. Congratulations to the Owls and our beloved up and coming AAC.

I dont think anyone is pretending we beat #1 FSU, but it was a big win (our first SEC win since 1938), on the road, and we were originally over 2 TD underdogs. No one gave us a chance to even compete in this game, let alone win.
After struggling last year with so many true/redshirt freshmen and sophomores, and as Al Golden loved to say, learning to win, it was huge for us.

Jumping on the Owl bandwagon here, great job team. I'm glad we aren't playing you guys this year after that performance.

Whoever wrote this on PonyFans has no idea what they're talking about:
"temple has been recruiting pretty well for awhile - and the school is committed to sports and can hide their players academically better than just about anyone. They will not be lower half this year and I would suspect they will beat us this year."
We have the same standards as everyone else in the NCAA and conference. We can't take non-qualifiers, and have had 9 signees not make it in the last 3 recruiting classes. I have no idea where that person got the idea that we'll take anyone.

I take exception to this one as well, this is out of bounds and way off base. If this were even close to the case Robbie Anderson would have been starting at WR last night.

Yeah, how many programs drop their best WR for reasons other than rape, murder, domestic violence, and other felonies? The answer is not many.
