Citing his role as a journalist, Risen refused to comply, fighting the subpoena until it expired in 2009.

People seem to think that because they live in America they are entitled to every freedom imaginable, especially when it comes to working against the government, and that just isn't the case.

It is the duty of the press to be the watchdog of government. Unfortunately they have over the decades become its lap dog. When a reporter with integrity now speaks out?....they are an enemy of the State. What does that say about America?
