New Blazer Ava arrived this morning
Had our first kid this morning. She was supposedly early but since she was 9lbs and 21 inches long I'm saying full term. It's been a crazy couple of days. When she first came out the doctor and nurses couldn't get her to cry. They tried and tried but she just wouldn't. I said give her to me and the nurse said but we've tried everything. I said just trust me. I took my little girl and she looked me right dead in the eye. I said "Ava, we are sending you to Troy for college." A whaling like had never been heard in the 100 plus years of St. Vincent's was heard and all is now well here for us. Only after I assured her that I was joking did it stop. Thanking God for our blessings here tonight. Oh yeah Ava said her first words in record time too. "Beat Troy"
