Jeez, dude. Knock it off. You're making us all look bad.
Don't feel bad, nobody thinks all Coog fans are like this. There are a couple Knight Fans who write comments that make me cringe as well.
Regardless, most people believe UCF@UH will be a top5 AAC conference game. Hopefully both teams live up to expectations. I would love it if both teams are ranked in Week5

Yes, posters on here have done a good job lately at only taking offense at the single poster and not the lot of fans posting from that same school. Everyone has their fools. we can't control what they post.

That said, no UCF or ECU fans are anywhere near as bad as willhclark. He posts crap like that on a regular basis.

My question is, why is Florida getting so many votes? Their team last year was pitiful and I doubt any of their incoming class will lift them back to contention or that the returning players are that much better.

Becuase their are teams like Florida, UNC, Notre Dame, etc.. that get votes every year whether the deserve them or not. The rest of us have to earn it.

That's just dumb, and I know how that feels because Sparty in the past never got the respect from voters even if they deserved it.

Some of it is because they had a tom of injuries to include a third string qb although Driscoll might as well be

Some in the 15 to 25 range lost key player/coaches, and weren't as good as UCF last year.
It pisses me off and AAC is my 5th favorite conference (behind other 4 G5 and I definately like AAC worlds more than any P5 conference).
That being said, I have more than 1 perception of which conferences I like after mwc....in some respects, AAC is my 2nd favorite conference due to being near equals with my MW. (Yes, I admit AAC is in the lead of MW as of this moment early. And that could change on a dime due to our closeness in strength).
I missed the thread referring to Fresno state. Please go away, no one asked for your opinion on the AAC.

Houston didn't get a single vote in either poll last year. How about ECU? We went 10-3 with two of those losses by a total of 8 points, and were the only other AAC team besides UCF that got votes in both polls. We even destroyed UNC on the road who they have ranked 23rd. The lack of respect across the board this year returning our key stars that have won 18 games the last two years is pretty amazing. It's not like we lost a player a top 5 player the caliber of Bortles or have a new coach or coordinators. I don't know if I've ever seen a team win 10 games, return what we are, not have any transition in coaches and get 0 votes the following year. Just amazing.

Another thing. Not only did we finish with votes in both polls last year but we started last preseason with multiple votes in these preseason polls coming off a 8-5 season. How the heck do you go 10-3, return the coaching staff intact and the same high profile stars and not get a single vote this preseason? It makes zero sense. It's not like we lost NFL talent like Bortles at the most important position on the field or have irreplaceable losses. Some of these teams getting votes over us are mind blowing. Hell Nevada went 4-8 last year and got a vote.

I am not surprised that UCF is #26. The Glitter of the BCS Bowl win has worn off and we are back to being UCF in the eyes of the nation. But really in order to get respect UCF needs to have another good year. What I like from this poll is the teams behind us to start. Not too long ago this list would have been unheard of
Florida 87, Texas 86, Duke 71, Iowa 68, Louisville 48, Marshall 41, Oklahoma State 37, Virginia Tech 26, TCU 23, Mississippi State 22, Michigan 19, Texas Tech 19, Miami (FL

Baylor at #10 still mystifies me. I understand that they return their QB, but not their #1 back and WR. They end up moving up in the polls.

You and another have a hard time reading, I guess.
I posted about UCF getting dissed being not a smart thing and added my feelings about AAC....where tf do you see ANYTHING about Fresno State in my post?
Go back to making your art in your coloring books and "please go away".

The fact remains, UCF has NEVER been ranked higher in the pre-season, and there ARE legitimate concerns that have to be addressed. Easier said than done, but just win and this will all take care of itself. If we don't then we have nothing to complain about.
But yeah, I noticed the bit about the others, too. Who would ever have thought UCF would ranked higher than Florida, Texas, VaTech, Michigan, and Miami to start a season?
