SEC Network
Well ... I noticed the channel today in MythTV.

I must say ... BTN is FAR better than the SEC channel, because the SEC channel is a full ESPN production. So HUGE GAPING swaths of commercial space are ESPN shilling for ESPN. BTN also has nice programming for the offseason like "BTN Football in 60" where they compress a game to 60 seconds but don't cut crap out. It's snap play snap play snap play. The SEC channel is deeply unimpressive compared to BTN, and I hope the ACC doesn't go down this path.

Wow, I always suspected Big Ten football was full of crap but didn't realize if you cut it all out you'd only be left with 60 seconds... would've expected 60 minutes, but, hey.

Why show the cloud of dust settling, just show the run. That would amount to about 60 seconds of actual play, it is B1G football.

The BTN has had a decade to refine their product. I wouldn't worry about it.

I watched Friday and was amused by the rednecks calling in on that Paul show. It was like a call in Jerry Springer show.

Perhaps in the off season they can have a DNA-testing on SECN?

I was thinking (to make it more suspenseful) that they'd try to find an SEC fan who was NOT related...

Wow... The SEC NEtwork production is 10 times better than the BTN... I'd already say it's as good if not better than ESPNU. I would love the ACC to get that of coverage and network.

RE: SEC Network
Verizon must not get the SEC network. It's not a big loss. ESPN's college football coverage is practically an SEC network.

Perhaps they could do CSI Alabama.
