MTSU fans, General Admission tickets?
When I try to buy tickets to the USM @ MTSU game from Southern Miss, I don't even get seat numbers, just General Admission? On the MTSU site the seats are the same $24 and I can pick the seats?

I am not sure why you would have general admission tickets to the game, since MT gives visitors reserved sideline tickets behind the visitor's bench in specific sections.

You can always buy tickets online for the same price (I think) and although the options are more limited they give you the opportunity to choose directly where you'll sit. The general admission at Floyd Stadium is up on the second deck behind an end zone, so I'm not sure why they would assign tickets for there. They might just label general admission to cut down on time on USM's end but will actually have a ticket number when you get the ticket.

Thanks Ole Blue! Discovered that it doesn't help Southern Miss any to buy the tcikets from them (like it would for a bowl game), so I bought from MTSU. It was also $5 cheaper to buy tickets directly from MTSU (no internet transaction fee) and I got three tickets on the Forty Yard Line, isle seats, lower deck about halfway up (Section 1H, Row 13, Seats 1, 2 and 3). Can't wait!

No problem. I am not surprised it's cheaper to do so through MT.

Those are good seats - my season tix are on the other side, I think almost straight across and up a little bit. I am excited as well. :) 04-cheers
