Morman, Ellis and Clark were all quite impressive for the first time really playing together. I don't think DeBerry and Strickland are good for these types of games where the other team is really small or plays zone. If Clark and Moore can get up to speed, we won't see much Sanders at the 4 (which is a good thing, IMO).
Once we get to mid season, I'd look for a line up like this:
G Troy Caupain
G Kevin Johnson
F Shaquille Thomas
F Gary Clark/Quadri Moore
C Octavius Ellis
That could be a scary good group by late February!!

My guess is Guyn, Johnson, Sanders, Thomas, and Ellis are your season long starters. Mick will continue to play older players that are ahead on defense. Cobb, Caupain, Mormon, Clark, and Moore will all get significant minutes as well. Our two space eaters will struggle to find minutes in certain games.
Right now Ellis is the most important player on this team. I don't think there is another big on the roster that will be a major factor on the defensive end.

Disagree, one of Moore or Clark will start at the 4 spot at some point..depending on how long it takes them to get the defensive scheme. They could easily play a zone with Clark and Thomas on the wings and Ellis in the center...that would be Syracuse-like!!!

I think they both will challenge for starter like minutes. I expect a lot of players to average between 10 and 25 minutes this season.

The beauty of Mormon, is that he is just big enough to be a 3rd guard or borderline SF. Based on the game, it is clear that Shaquille needs to be pushed.
