Win or Lose these games are for experimenting more than winning. These are exhibitions not the season. Try to keep a calm head if we happen to drop a game. Pastner is trying to get an idea what he is working with.

That's not possible for us. We have a knack for making games that don't really matter, matter.

If we win - Bashers: Its doesn't mean anything, just wait until we play Wichita State and get blown out

If we lose - Bashers: See I told you so, he doesn't have the team ready, he can't coach and this is a bad sign for the season, just wait until we play Wichita State and get blown out

If we win close - Bashers: See I told you so, we almost lost, he can't coach and this is a bad sign for the season, just wait until we play Wichita State and get blown out

If we lose close - Bashers: See I told you so, we barely won, he can't coach and this is a bad sign for the season, just wait until we play Wichita State and get blown out

It doesn't matter to me how many points we win by. It has never bothered me that we lose a game, it only bothers me how we lose. If we play hard, play together, the coach has the team prepared to play and we lose in a close game, I don't have a problem with it.

If we do well, it is even more exciting that we still have to add Burrell, Godfrey, and possibly Johnson to the team.

Kidding aside.... You are absolutely right. We may be pleasantly surprised.

IMO the goal is to learn your team & teach during these types of tours. Don't care about results. Learn your players strengths, & teach them where they tend to be better. The kuran box for instance. Great strategy! Just wanna know that everyone got to play & that we learned.

Preseason is about process. Process > results.

It is important to play to win, but it is more important to play everyone.

Also, as noted before, this team will barely resemble the team they will be after a couple of months or so.

As usual, I want to win them all.

I wonder if he will limit the minutes Shaq and Austin play. I think we know enough about them to avoid risking injury. The worst thing that can come out of this trip isn't a loss, it's a bad injury to a key guy. Just stay healthy and learn what you can.
