Thanks dad. I took your advice and feel much better this morning.

I'm sure getting crushed wasn't the plan but JP definitely got some information to work with.

I don't consider a ten point loss crushed. I consider they played like crap in their first game together (ever) missing a key player (Nichols) against a veteran team that had already played a number of games, started developing some chemistry and showed spirit and determination in not giving up and making the game respectable. In that respect, they are already ahead of last year's team, who often gave up when they got behind big.

Seems simple enough but vegas doesn't.

You know what was interesting. The coach never eased up and I guess it's good he didn't. He actually came kind of close to losing at the end--if that Scrubb hadn't drained another 3. lol

Why on Earth would you believe that?

I venture outside the messageboard bubble.

Hogwash. You play to win every game. You don't think our coaches and players feel that way? Winning sets a tone and develops attitude.

You're the winner that said that carleton called the dogs off during the 4th quarter . Based on what? Seeing the game? Hearing from people at the game? Seeing the box score?

Answer. None of the above. Purely having a blind dumb agenda and the thick skull to say anything no matter how full of cap to justify it.

Personal attacks? Tisk risk.

Ok. Let's say they didn't call the dogs off. Let's agree then that it's easy for young kids to lose focus when pounding another team by 30.

Either way, making a run in the 4th quarter doesn't impress me as much as it does others. They beat us for three quarters.

But whatever makes you happy. You represent our university well even though you didn't attend it.

What a shame.

You don't sound like you were even raised in the South. Such rudeness is surprising.

I know right!? I can't believe the stuff stammers says to other people. But he's not southern. He's from canada. Thought everyone knew that.

I think it's entirely probable that Carleton's intensity waned AND that the Tigers played better.

Hmmmm. Really? Interesting. I hardly say anything close to what he says yet you question me?

Talk about agendas.

Funny.

Actions..It's really about actions. I only know you from your posts...Your actions are a mystery. But I do know 'a little' about our friend Stammers, and I am aware of the amount of time and money he has put into the UofM. He is a staunch supporter, in all ways.

But you'll agree that the way he talks to and treats people isn't 'southern', right? You have to. I don't see how you couldn't if in fact you are southern.

I treat everyone who deserves respect with respect. When some winner posts garbage purely because he hates pastner, I call him on it. You've been around with other id's, , you know what your purpose is.

No southern gentleman reminds someone who has put his heart into a cause that the cause is not truly his because he was not born into it. To take a jab at them by saying it's not really their cause seems rude.

Sometimes a choice is stronger than a birthright.

You don't knock a person's fandom for not being born into it.
