false..rice was given zero credit for beating Kansas

and houston beating boise is 10 times more relevant to the media, perception, posters or whatever meter youve created than beating wake

beating byu> wazzu

beating houston > beating kansas

beating ucf > cal

you can say our #1 team is probably equal to their #6 team in perception ,and that would probably make a decent argument but to say the ENTIRE p5 is foolish and ecu posturing
stop trying to pimp off your ncstate win...no one cares

Again, the poster said said 2 P5 teams, a follow UH fan brought one of them, the lesser of the two. No where other than grouping it with the other as wins over P5 school (no mention of if they were good or not was made). It is you and AirRaide that are inferring your own meaning on to the post.

That said post was in response to this shot across the bow,

"And who has ECU beat? I really wouldn't be acting all high and mighty if I was a ECU fan, you guys barely made it out of CUSA"

Yes, the two more P5's than you was condescending and snarky, but it was meant to be, as a response to a condescending and snarky shot at ECU fans.

Yes, I know that the other fan took a shot at ECU because of your first post. But, you have been rather snarky at any opinion that doesn't say UH is the greatest thing since sliced bread and we shouldn't even suit up and just give the trophy to UH now. Sorry, but I's rather play the games and not try to decide this on paper.

Getting to NCSU, preseason last year Massey had NCSU beating ECU and gave ECU only a 40% chance of winning. Well, during the 4th quarter of the game it was 42-7, when we cleared the bench, NCSU put up 3 garbage time TD's against walk-ons. We blew them out, period. So much for the preseason prediction, heck we were 10 point dog to UNC, how did that work out?07-coffee3

unc wasnt the same team they were in the beginning of the season..and are still only a 7-6 team ..thats first
second...i have no problem with someone trying to use unc for aac justification

but when some makes a flawed argument in using both..i point out the flawed aspect which constantly saying 2 p5..trying to pimp off ncstate

if houston beat kansas, wake and lets say syracuse (who was a 7-6 acc team who destroyed tulane) and we kept saying that we beat 3 p5 teams and that is why we are going to beat ecu...youd clearly point out that 2 of the teams were wake and kansas ..so dont act like me calling out just ncstate is flawed by any means

they clearly said 2 p5, meaning they were using both as pillars, so questioning even just one is legitimate point. if you don want me to question ncstate say we beat unc and stop the ridiculous we beat "2 p5"

third you are very selective with your memory or blind with your homerism, that quote you put up was from a ECU fan attacking my first comment that had nothing to do with ECU

"Obviously he watched who's {team} beat nobody...and why would he watch who's {team} when your own fans don't show up."
so a ecu fan attacks UH, a UH fan say why are you so high and mighty to be taking jabs at us, a ecu fan then trys to pimp off a 3 win ncstate and a 7-6 unc
and im the snarky one

get off your high horse, the uh response wasnt snarky but simple a question in response to a jab by your fans that wasnt even waranted

and your slective memory is forgetting its your fans that have been attacking other teams all offseason but im the snarky one for defending them 07-coffee3

thanks for the conversation

honestly reading threw why he picked what as what, i can tell he difnt watch more than 2 AAC games last year

I agree, this is analysis with more holes than the Titanic. Gunner Keil got beat out at ND by Everret Gholston, whom wasn't exactly in the Heisman discussions. Gholston is, at best, a game manager.

We have a highly recruited out of HS QB that has a Hall of Fame father. He was our band-aid last year, as our future was red shirting (is shirting a word?) Nick Montana may still take meaningful snaps this year, but he's now third string behind Tanner Lee and Devon Powell.

And I think Sherman Badie and Teddy Veal are as fast as anyone in the conference.

We're going to open eyes in the AAC. Our D is loaded, particularly in the secondary. This is a team that, if it doesn't shoot itself in the foot, can compete with anyone in the conference (ask ECU, whom lost in New Orleans last year with Montana out with his shoulder separated.) We're deeper than we've been in over a decade. Talent is not the issue, maturity is the question mark.

Tulane?

YES, TULANE!

dont worry im sure when ucf fans feel more comfortable about their qb situation. they will start derailing a few threads themselves..

I thought I addressed, just saw I type ECU instead of UH. Sorry.

Again, you get too defensive, this coming from a defender. Disagreeing is not attacking.

2 more P5 schools than you.

Just because ECU fans are idiots and revel in the glory of beating 4-8 teams, doesn't mean everybody else is stupid too

And just who is the idiot here, all ECU fans or the guy who thinks NCSUx was 4-8? They were 3-1 OOC and 0-8 in the ACC. I don't know about you, but I don't get 4-8 when I add that up. So, who's the fool? The guy that said we beat two P5's or the guy who said we, (all ECU fans), were reveling in beating a 4-8 team that was actually 3-9.

Moral of this story, don't call others idiots when you can't quote basic facts correctly.

So...just because I didn't bother looking up a ****** record makes me a fool? Leave it to an ECU fan wanting to win an argument on a technicality.

Foolish is how you guys try to convince us how beating a 3-9 team is somehow an accolade. Which is pretty all of you clowns.
Fact of the matter is we whooped both of their butts into next week and were a dropped pass away from beating VT. UH didn't play anyone OOC except BYU and they lost. Your most impressive win was probably SMU...I'm done.

we did beat rice who was a 10 win team and did win c-usa....oh right, the same c-usa ecu couldn't win 07-coffee3

and vt was an 8-5 team houston was inches from beating 2 different 12-1 top 15 teams and we lost to byu on a 2pt conversion miscue

Oh, so we're are ALL idiots now.......nice generalizing there bud. Funny you jump all over the 4-8 team, but don't mention the 7-6 team that beat Cinny, that we punked in their house.07-coffee3
beating us by a td despite being projected 5 spots above us in preseason polls is being punked?

usf also beat cincy and we beat usf..college football doesnt work like that.. beating a team who beat a team who beat a team is the a very dumb argument

i can easily make the same one for rice, marshall and ecu

You can make the same argument for Tulane.

Tulane BEAT ECU.

Tulane had the game vs. Rice taken away by a lousy holding call that wiped out our winning TD, costing Tulane a trip to the conference championship game. That hanky doesn't fly and Tulane was probably CUSA Champs. But regardless, we were closer to that championship than ECU was.

Ifs and Buts.....

false..rice was given zero credit for beating Kansas

and houston beating boise is 10 times more relevant to the media, perception, posters or whatever meter youve created than beating wake

beating byu> wazzu

beating houston > beating kansas

beating ucf > cal

you can say our #1 team is probably equal to their #6 team in perception ,and that would probably make a decent argument but to say the ENTIRE p5 is foolish and ecu posturing
stop trying to pimp off your ncstate win...no one cares

Talk about a STUPID argument. The teams that any school plays are either in the P5 or not in the P5. That was the question responded to. Whether or not they had a good year doesn't take them out of the P5.

do you even know what we are talking about????
thanks for stating the obvious

but the argument was them saying beat any p5 is better than beating any g5...which i disagreed with and said beating a team like boise will get you 10times more national respect and perception boost than beating wake forest or Kansas
