IRS Feeling More Heat From Federal Judge
IRS filed under oath the responses on Monday. Judge says they are inadequate, and says thy must provide more details. Gives them only a week to comply. The noose is getting tight:

Quote:The declarations the IRS submitted Tuesday were from five IRS officials, including two who said they personally worked on the hard drive.

In the declarations, agency technology officials insisted they did everything they could to fix and recover data from the hard drive of Lerner. However, they said their efforts were fruitless, and some of Lerner's emails were lost.

You approve of the IRS openly defying a Judges order?

Let's see here....a cop shoots a possible thug and before the facts come out there are protests and violence and at least one person on this board saying it looks like murder 1. OTOH, specific groups were targeted by a government agency, a major player takes the 5th and retires, there is a series of extremely fortunate hard drive crashes, and the left complains about us even trying to uncover that facts.

STFU...you're both delusional. Nobody defied anything! He just requested more information. You're both believing the slanted reporting from Fox 'news' and Judicial Watch. The judge is a Clinton appointee. He isn't 'demanding' nor does he view what the IRS submitted as a joke. Get real!

From another source:
Quote:In his order, Sullivan asked the IRS to provide more information on how the IRS uses bar codes to track computer equipment and whether bar codes are used for hard drives. The agency has said in filings for the True the Vote lawsuit that it only put bar codes on larger pieces of equipment, like laptops, but it retrieved the bar code for Lerner’s hard drive from an outside contractor.

The judge also inquired about a process known as degaussing, a magnetic process that wipes information off of hard drives. The IRS has said that Lerner’s hard drive was wiped clean to protect taxpayer information, and Sullivan wants to know agency procedure for tracking that process.

Finally, Sullivan asked the IRS to disclose what outside vendors can more fully brief the court on how the agency destroys hard drives.

Not to mention, there has STILL been NO evidence of WH involvement and I have already said on numerous occasions that Lerner should be in jail already...I ain't carrying one rain drop for her. Go blow another meme dude.

RE: IRS Feeling More Heat From Federal Judge
There hasn't been a smidgen of evidence period. Off what has been provided so far, there is no basis to determine anything.

Except res ipsa loquitur. We know enough to know that something seriously wrong happened. But as long as the IRS and the administration succeed in circling the wagons and playing hide the pea, we'll never know exactly what.

It's like you went into the hospital to have your left leg amputated, and when you come out of surgery your right leg is gone but your left leg is still there. You know something went wrong, you just don't know what.

I'm perfectly happy with Lerner doing 20 to 50 if the problem starts and stops with her. But if it's below her (some rogue agents in Cincinnati, remember, the first explanation we were given) or above her, I want whoever is responsible identified and I want her/him/them to do lots of time.

RE: IRS Feeling More Heat From Federal Judge
Tom's nervous. Let me explain why:

You see, SUllivan is a Clinton appointee, but he doesnt fool around. The IRS is getting backed into a corner under oath. I thought the next item on the agenda was for the people who gave testimony under oath to give depositions. Instead, Sullivan is asking for more detailed info from "people with responsibility and authority." Federal law on this was broken, and someone will be held responsible. That may not be for this court to decide, but the testimony given here will ultimately be used for that.

Sullivan is following procedure here, but it looks like a special prosecutor is forthcoming. And lest we forget, there is another federal judge on a similar case against the IRS as well.

Uhhh, no, no. 05-nono

"Not a smidgen of corruption". Now of course you've tried, unsuccessfully I might add, to move the goalposts yet again.

Evidence to implicate the WH (is the building the perp?03-lmfao) is decidely NOT the same as "Not a smidgen of corruption". Clearly there's a lot more here than evena smidgen.

Two low level, line employees in Cincinatti...03-lmfao03-lmfao03-lmfao Nice try there too, most transparent administration evaaaahhh!!!

Hopey-Changey! 04-cheers

Tom, over the months your story has evolved from nothing happened, to it was low level employees, to admitting Lerner did something wrong now that it's clearly obvious that she did. Now you've walked back your story to protect the WH and if it ever turns out that someone in the WH knew, you will then fall back on the claim that Obama didn't know.

IF Obama was smart, he would have had no communication whatsoever with the IRS about this.

But it appears he wasnt smart. It looks like we already know who the person was that was the middleman between the IRS and Obama.

If anyone's hands are clean, its probably hers. She is an expert on this. Obama was the noob.

Looks like Nichole Flax will be one of the next to plead the 5th.
