There weren't many to be had were there? I thought the season tickets took up most of the stadium.

Great job, Tulane! Would love to see USF and Temple switch to on campus stadiums, or at least smaller ones. Hopefully UConn gets back to having our 40,000 at near capacity this season.

I'm hoping that the private schools have the same problem SMU had last year with Moody.

Moody Coliseum was the place to be in Dallas last year.

Single game tickets went to the public today and they sold out in less than 15 minutes.

First home sellout for Tulane since the LSU game at the Superdome in 1987.

In all honesty, it was about 500 tickets. There was a pre-sale of single game tickets to season ticket holders and Tulane Athletics Fund donors during this past week, before they were made available to the general public. I believe that there were less than 3,000 single game tickets available overall.

That's much less exciting. Its still good that it will sell out though.

I read 2,000 today and 3,000 overall, not 500. But either way...

What great news. My hope is that Tulane can rediscover their fan base and grow with the conference.

I'm sure there are SOME college football fans in NOLA that don't like corndogs.

SMU has set a new season ticket sales record in football. The reason has nothing to do with football...buying tickets gets you priority points which make it more likely that you get basketball tickets. A similar scheme is being applied to students, who now must attend 4 football games to be considered for Mob membership (guaranteed basketball tickets).

Supposedly back in the 70s or 80s we were offered SEC membership if we paid an entry fee of around one million dollars. Oh what could have been.
