One thing is clear, they aren’t just seizing and holding territory, they are building an actual state.





Not so long ago Obama was claiming al-Qaeda was defeated, now al-Qaeda has a fully functional Islamist state in the heart of the Middle East.

These are extremely dangerous and well organized terrorists who in all aspects except being recognized as a legitimate state are indeed a state.
