You have to be "all in".....what do we have to lose that probably isn't foregone lost otherwise?

If we didn't go all in, we're more than likely gone.

If we go all in, we're likely gone.

The all in odds are better as hopefully we are in the remaining pool of what's left of mid-major football about a decade from now and hopefully the leftovers have enough to hang permanently???

AAC will all hang around because of your BE defector war chest. So ignore ESPiN and thank God for that.

Close of article says it all:

As Boeh watched practice Monday, before he knew that he was no longer athletic director and would instead be steering Fresno State through the altered terrain developing before it, he took note of a whirring device that was flying about 10 feet above the players during drills.

He was told that it was a remote-controlled drone, giving coaches a different angle for analysis. He wondered if other college football teams were doing the same thing.

“We have a drone,” Boeh said. “Alabama probably launched a satellite.”

What a great quote. This is one thing that we lack individually. The ability to look past the lottery of being accepted into the P5 as opposed to organization of the G5 as a whole to combat the obvious inequality of the stacked deck hampering all of us as a group.

The P5 hold all the cards when it comes to D1 football. We have virtually one chance individually. So, unless we can shun the P5 as a group, we are doomed as a group to fail.

Let me get this straight. Our difficulty in being included in the Playoff is our schedule is too weak due to playing too many G5 games. So your solution is to stop playing the P5 as a protest. Why don't you submit legislation to the NCAA to create seperate divisions for the G5 and the P5. That would really show them who's boss.

Look, we are all frustrated with the situation--but the G5 has no power in FBS football beyond a last ditch nuclear anti-trust option. Right now, things tend to be slowly moving toward the G5 having better access to the playoff. An 8 team playoff will be here soon and then we will have a real legitimate shot at playoff inclusion. We just need to find a way to hang on long enough to see that happen.

The Times has gone downhill? What are you talking about. They are the last great American Newspaper.

03-thumbsup This.
