Excited to see what this Tanner Lee guy can do for you folks. Also, Tulane folks, why not throw your take out there in the comment section...

They "hid" the comment section so we wouldnt have to censor our language as much. See, it hides the comment section UNLESS you sign into BCSNN itself at the top right corner. Sign in there, set it to remember you so you dont have to keep signing into the site, and then bam, the comments section shows up.

As an aside to those who arent regulars there: by no means is the BCSNN comments section super vulgar or anything, this was done apparently to appease potential investors in the site.

Next week the defensive starters will actually play in the scrimmage. I wouldn't get too excited about the ability of our O-line to protect our young QB.

We know the QB,wide receivers and tight end positions are in good hands. I am concerned about the ability of the offensive line to open large holes for our running backs and defend the QB from sacks. Also does Tulane have any quality running backs academically eligible. I will take another Matt Forte.

Heh… yeah I'd be okay with that, too.

I really like our starting center and his two freshman back ups.

Most units look as good or better than last year, EXCEPT for the DL and K. The DL lost two excellent players in Warmsley and Davenport, and those two made the rest of the D (especially the DB's) look great. The lack of a true kicker is going to kill us this year since Lou Groza award winning kicker Cairo Santos graduated.

I share that view, although in all candor it should be said that Santos' performance dropped off quite a bit in his senior season. Of course, when you start off from a point of virtual perfection, it's possible to "drop off" yet still be very, VERY good. That's how I view Santos of 2013. Whether that was connected to his father's unexpected death, or something else, I don't know. But he really wasn't quite the same kicker we saw in 2012.
