Speaking of the 2008 National Runner Up Banner
Ok - I get that we can't hang the banner in the rafters above the court.

What would prevent FedEx Forum to hang the banner out in the main Entrance corridor?

Why not raise a banner that just says 2008, with the players names on it. Nothing wrong with that, right? Invite all the guys back. Hell, even invite Johnny boy... maybe in 2018...

I believe b/c this time they specifically said no to the banner. For 1985 it wasn't part of the punishment to not hang it.

I saw a documentary a few weeks ago about a school and it showed the boxes that there vacated banners were stored in, can't remember now who it was, damn!

I would display the 2008 banner on a digital billboard on 240. And I wouldn't know nuttin' about it.
