I believe athletically they're branded Middle Tennessee.

Well that's the attempt anyway. No one seems to care.

Oh okay. My bad, I wasn't aware. I always call schools by the proper name of the university proper by default. The only schools I mess with are (Cr)Appy State (I think they want to be ASU or something) and USPAM.

It's not your fault that people constantly insist on calling us M.T.S. rather than MT. That's the athletic branding (MT), and I guess it's just hard to catch on for lots of those in the media...

Looks like Marshall is the only G5 program to make the list. That is good for C-USA. I'm sure some fans of the AAC, and MWC will belittle this preseason ranking.

I am afraid they try to brand us as "Florida Atlantic" (ESPN does). I would have preferred "FAU" or "Florida Atlantic University". But either way, I'll live.

Some good publicity for the Herd
