And they are reaping what they have sown for not having the foresight to see the changing of the tides in what is driving the bus. I understand why they did what thy did, but that doesn't mean what they did was the smartest course of action.

The C7/Big East schools seem plenty happy with their course of action. Back in 1990 they made the error of trying to become a big-time football conference and that led to 20 years of headaches that we were glad to be rid of with the split from the football playing schools.
