Does anyone know if he will get a shot at playing pro ball ?

Did he workout with any NBA teams ?

Or is he going to play overseas ?

I wonder if he has a Twitter handle? EagleSam is really good keeping up with our athletes who use social media.

Little off topic, but many players have Twitter handles as do writers in the media (and e-mail addresses, too).

Don't be afraid to e-mail or Tweet them. I've actually PMed a player who sent me a "Hello" PM. Soon thereafter he got the message: Stay off these boards.

Last January when we were hot and heavy into football recruiting I was e-mailing a Detroit sports writer who puts out the top 50 or 60 or whatever for a Detroit paper and we knew that his information was dated.

He got on the cell with the recruit's h.s. coach and confirmed the story and quickly corrected his online piece. I think it was player who decommitted from us and another who committed to us.

The media uses tips to know where to look... I guess it is called feedback.

He doesn't have twitter, I don't think. He did once upon a time, but didn't tweet much.

DaShonte is really smart and articulate. I hope he pursues a future on the media side of basketball. He'd be a great analyst or color commentator.
