Can we get info on another position for once preferably defense. I would like to see how the CB's look and the rotation there hopefully Petty gets some serious PT.

Lol a little, tired of all QB talk being a defensive guy. I think the secondary could be a strength and have the best position battles. Glad im not the D coordinator , but would you start at the corner spots, your nickel guy is looked at as a starter so UAB top three corners are who?

It would be nice to get some feedback on the defense. It seems thats where most of the competition is taking place. (So many returners and new players). A few more pictures,we really have not seen many shots of the D-Line and Lb's. Only the JUCO DB's.

We've gone from an amateur running the offense, an amateur running the defense to guys with experience on both sides of the ball. I'm not sure how to feel about the 2nd defense giving the business to the 1st offense. In camp the defense usually gets the upper hand early. Hopefully news of good defense will not be fools gold like it has been the last few years. We may be blessed with a depth chart in the next day or so. I wonder when the coaches plan on putting one in stone. The scrimmage Saturday could be our last.

I'm not sure there really will be a depth chart put in stone as I see a lot of people seeing playing time this year

I don't think the staff wants to release one. Keep the kids antsy and working hard.

Glad to hear the defense did well today.

Yep, and it keeps Troy from knowing for sure who they will be matching up with. Good move IMO!

I'm thinking they will. May not mean much though. You could start one week and not the next.
