DB, this clip is Southfield freeway at Outer Drive. IIRC, you grew up within a mile or so of this spot (like I did).

I grew up two miles south of there. In fact, my mom just sold her house and is moving next week :( :sniff:

Im still living in the area...they finally got the water out from under the overpass and reopend Southfield Southbound, Outer Drive and Enterprise drive leading to the Lions practice facilities are still under water.

My buddy sent a pic yesterday of a shot from Outer Drive. That's amazing, hope Carters didn't get flooded out! :)

Carters.....ate there many times....Im a sucker for the sliders with everything.....the fried onions on the sliders are the best! That place is still going strong. Ive passed by on a Sunday mornng around 9:00am and the place is full...of course it doesnt take much for that place to fill up.

Nice to know it's still there. I wear my Millers gear and represent quite often.

Bates in Livonia is good when I'm in the area I have stopped in

I had one by me on the corner of Novi Road and Grand River back in the day. Carter's was better, Millers is heavenly.
