I actually agree in the sense that drastic legal measures need to be taken. I also think that if those drastic measures were taken then there would be a tangible, direct and substantial reward to be reaped by our conference as a whole.

If they're any law suits vs the so called p5, the AAC should definitely stay away... Let Boise State and the other tiny conferences follow through this ridiculous idea.

The AAC has the most legit argument, especially schools like Cincy, USF & UConn. They were just cut out of the in crowd for no reason.

Totally agree with you bones- the AAC should lead the way with legal action now. The fact that we are being deemed a non-power conference with no automatic access to the playoff and big bowls is enough to sue. We have the reigning national champs in bball and the fiesta bowl champs in football. Why not a power league? Why do other get direct access and we do not? Because their TV contract is better???? That has nothing to do with competition at all.

Bowlsby loves to say the P5 has won all these titles well that is because the system is rigged in favor of them.

If they want the non-profit status removed from those conferences, you may have an argument. Anything else is a no-go.

The man's on to something. It's not like the P5's have the money or would even think to hire the best legal counsel in the nation to defend themselves. And, of course, not a single one of those schools is politically-connected.

The NCAA's record in Sherman Anti-Trust lawsuits is horrible. What is it now 0-5. I've lost track. The fact is that a careful reading of OU/Georgia v. NCAA shows that they are still not abiding by Supreme Court precedent. Nothing is going to stop this freight train except litigation or perhaps Congressional action to amend the Sherman Anti-Trust Act to add an exemption based on education/student athlete/amateurism. Litigation is where you take the NCAA and the P5 by the balls
