If Bentley is legit, that would be incredible. Demarco and Heinicke have already spoiled us. Another 4 years of quality play would be amazing.

It takes so little time for the coaches to know if a player has it or not. McCarley made no impression in Summer Camp, and xferred at season's end. Bentley has confirmed his place on the team and is rewarded accordingly.

Thrilled to see him take the field.

That was pretty darn impressive!

I will say, that throw was on the money.

I've been watched a few of those videos now. Bentley's delivery is super polished. Very fundamentally sound throwing mechanic. If he has half the feel for live action as Heinicke we have another gem.

Watching these young guys, I feel like a kid in a toy store at Christmas. I could be wrong, but I think the Monarchs are going to have a surprisingly good year this year, and it's only going to get better.

It should be no surprise Shuler is ahead of where TH was at this point. For one, our offense has changed dramatically and the weapons he has to work with are far better than they were four years ago. But secondly, TH was a diamond in the rough that we happened to stumble upon. Shuler is a stud prospect who was a phenomenal get for us. As good as TH has been against FCS opponents, I expect a lot of similar things from Shuler against FBS opponents. He's that good.

Im really excited about Lowe and Fulgham and really the young receivers in general. This year there may be some headaches due to age, but our WR core is absolutely stacked. And there is a variety of size, speed, and crisp route running.

Bentley is going to get so much better this season. I like how he's always looking to push the ball downfield.

Getting the ball out faster, like TH, which is often two seconds is his next progression.
