I'm anxious to see this year tv schedule, then I can figure out which road/homes games I'll attend

Last years TV was pretty good, so I'm not going to get my hopes up

But.......high defination home broadcast games this year????

They're hosting UAF when I'll be home for a wedding, so that will be nice.

They are home for Homecoming weekend and also the EMU game. Maybe a little cross marketing is in order - buy a hockey ticket get a football ticket for $10 kind of thing. Hockey attendance seems to get hurt when it's the same day as a home football game. Attending both makes for a really long day, especially Homecoming.

I loved double sports days!! I remember even having B-ball and hockey in the same day. Students go to the football game, then eat dinner and then head to the hockey game, made for a fun day! :)

Well this is new

just heard about that on detroit radio on the way home. Was prepared to call it idiotic (mostly because, of course, it was made to sound like it was one game between UM/MSU in chicago). Now i want to go.

Sucks for WMU that they have to give up a home game for this. Will they refund season ticket holders for this?

Will outdoor hockey ever become played out? I guess when they wring every last cent from it.

Outdoor games are becoming so common/frequent, they are no longer unique

I still love it.

It may not be a unique, "holy crap i've never seen this before and it's awesome" type thing, but it's still an amazing type of event. Loved every bit of being at CoPa last winter.

I think they should keep churning out outdoor games as long as different teams are getting the chance to play in them.

I think they're awesome to be at, so unique and fun. I don't need a huge crowd around me to validate how great of a time I'm having. I went to the Wings vs Hawks at Wrigley.
