Which witnesses the one that says the cop stopped the kids and was able to reach across the street from his police cruiser and put one in a headlock or the one that said the cop got out of his car and opened fire.

Can any tell why there was a shot discharged in the car?

What about the report from the PD that the officer in question had half his face swollen with a black eye?

That's why there needs to be an investigation. What is clear however is that an unnamed black man was killed again.

Why do you involve race with the crime? If it was a white man would you say an unarmed white man was gunned down? Probably not, because it doesn't fit your agenda.

It don't matter since the black guy that did it was shot. Does the BPP have a bounty out yet or are the waiting to hear what race the cop was I wonder...

Actually no. Reports are they the ones looting came from outside the community to take advantage of the situation

With the police being shot at and death threats being sent out along with the riots and looting, I think not releasing any information about the officer in question is a smart move for his safety. I think the stat on the local news last night was there are only like 3 black cops on that force. This area they are in is said to be a very dangerous area of STL.

Yep... the ones that were caught and arrested (it's down to 8 arrests from teh previous report of 32) were all from South St. Louis with criminal records.

Everywhere between Moline Acres, Dellwood, and Ferguson is dangerous, especially at night.

I refuse to go through there during night travels, unless I have absolutely ZERO choice in the matter.

And believe it or not, I have my suspicions that the cop in question _is_ a black officer. (Note this is just a suspicion, and has no weight behind the theory, other than this apartment complex was one of those that they usually sent in their black officers, to maintain an appearance of "cohesiveness".)

I'd have to go find the information, but I believe it's more than 3 black officers on the Ferguson PD, but not many more...

I understand the statement about protecting the officer's identity from threats, but I'm getting a feeling that St. Louis City/County wants this to become a major issue so they can say "look , you need more of our black officers in black neighborhoods" (as they've been trying to do for YEARS). And if this is a black officer that did the shooting, they've got a problem using that point.

So let me get this straight..

There's more black people in an area.. And there are more black folks arrested.. What are the odds.

Stay on topic F-Pud.. This is about a black attacking a police officer then consequently being shot while resisting arrest.
