Big loss for NIU
http://www.huskiewire.com/blogs/entries/.../index.xml
Quote:DeKALB – Northern Illinois will be without senior tailback Cameron Stingily for the start of the season, NIU head coach Rod Carey said following Tuesday's practice.
Carey did not disclose Stingily's injury, but said that he wouldn't play the first four games. Carey said the Huskies hope to get Stingily back at some point this year.

That's a heartbreaker for the Huskies. They will figure out something though. They always seem to find someone else after losing people to injury or graduation.

It hurts, but we at least have Akeem Daniels back, who missed last year. He's a smaller guy and probably will split time with others - but he's fast, quick, blocks well and is a good pass-catcher. Might be better than Stingily overall but won't be dragging defenders for first downs.
I think we'll be okay there but Mario Jones, one of our few DTs with any experience is nicked up and might be missing some games. We're already thin there so might actually hurt more.
