Largest Islamic Country Bans ISIS Support
It is now illegal to support ISIS in any matter in Indonesia. ISIS is a real threat to that entire world.

Jesus Christ. I'm all for capitalism but this is going too far.

ISIS is committing genocide against the Christians and Yazidis over there. They have to be stopped. Remember what happened in Rwanda??

Lord, please help these people...

Have Qatar and (ironically) Saudi stopped financing them?
BTW, good for Indonesia, for what it's worth.

I'm waiting for ISIS, or any other Islamist group, to start something in China's Xinjiang region.

I can never understand why the Islamists don't try to defeat the infidel Chinese who force Muslims away from their faith.

They know what'll happen. They're not entirely mad.

ISIS said they'd face death if they didn't either pay taxes, convert, or get out. That's pretty f*cked up.

I think QS is being sarcastic here, but just for the record: the reason "Islamists" don't f##k with the PRC is (essentially) they know the PRC deals with its enemies in a very different manner than does Israel or America.

That's why I'm moving to China. That's where all our jobs are. Instead of buying it from walmart I'll buy direct.

I dont know why everyone is worked up over Isis. They are "jv." Just because you put on a lakers uniform doesn't mean you're Kobe Bryant.

Yea the modern message is "You need to pay up or submit totally to our beliefs because we cant be subsidizing your use of public accommodations"..

You know like hospitals that don't want to perform abortions over here and what hard core leftists like tom say..

It's little wonder why Americans (well, the centrists and right-leaners, at least) reflexively side with Israel in any flare up over there. What with the constant stream of Islamist thuggary over the past quarter century: Al Qaeda, Islamic Jihad, Boko Haram, Abu Sayyaf, Hamas, Hezbollah, Jamaat Islamayya, Al Shabaab... you need a huge scorecard to keep up with them all.

When your "PR department" is kidnapping and enslaving hundreds of girls in Nigeria to systematically executing Kurds and Christians in northern Iraq - and that's just in past few months alone - then you've got a problem.

Exactly.

There has been simmering insurgency in China for several years, but I don't think it's very intense. The same thing could be said of Chechnya, yet the rise of ISIS is partially blamed on Chechen influence.

I think that the reason you don't hear more about violence in Muslim areas of China has more to deal with how the Chinese deal with the media than how they deal with the Muslims.

Why China is making it harder for Chinese Muslims to celebrate Ramadan - Vox

http://www.vox.com/2014/7/3/5867775/chin...n-xinjiang Wrote:Ramadan, the Muslim holy month, has just begun — but a number of China's 23 million Muslims won't be allowed to participate in the daily fast that is so central to the holiday, and in some cases are even barred from entering mosques. Authorities in Xinjiang, a largely Muslim semi-autonomous region in China's northwest, have sharply limited Ramadan observance for Muslim students, teachers, and civil servants, who are now prohibited from "fasting and other religious activities."

China Uighur Conflict: Gang Knife Attack In Xinjiang Province Blamed On Islamic Terrorists

http://www.ibtimes.com/china-uighur-conf...ts-1642368 Wrote:A gang attack in Xinjiang left dozens of people dead Monday in an incident China said may be another terror incident in the mostly Muslim far western region.

Xinhua said Monday’s attack “aims to destabilize the region and spread fear and hatred, as did similar recent attacks.” The news agency didn’t say how the mob carried out the attack, but the Associated Press reported that the attackers used knives and targeted a police station, government buildings and vehicles. China’s state news agency said police responded by shooting the assailants, killing dozens of attackers. It claimed the gunfire “was decisive and well-justified. It prevented more civilian casualties, both from Han [Chinese] and Uighur ethnic groups.”
