Vegas game tickets
What's everybody doing for UNLV game tickets?
I remember HuskieTom51 was buying thru NIU - have you heard where the seats are yet?
I hate to spend so much money for the trip to just get terrible seats thru NIU. But not finding anything online...

Probably just going to walk up and buy them at the stadium. Can't imagine it's going to sell out.

I have heard that UNLV actually get's pretty good attendance for football. If that's true you may get stuck with terrible seats.

There's no way I'd personally go to an away game running the risk of having bad seats. I guess if you're there more for the 'Vegas' part, than the game, then I guess it would make it a little different.

They had 10k for CMU and 13K for WIU last year.
It's a 36,000 seat stadium and they only drew more than 20,000 twice last year (biggest was 26k vs. Arizona).
I'm not worried.

I'd be more worried about bumping into Kim Kardashian and contracting syphilis than getting tickets at the gate.

Yea, I hate to go all that way & get terrible seats. Which is one of the reasons I hesitate to buy thru NIU.

If I got to bone Kim Kardashian...I don't think I could ever top that anyway. So I'll take the STD.
Ebola...yeah. I'll pass...but I had to think twice about it.

I think we should also do this in the next year or two. This should remove most of the wait and see fans who will only go to a game if the weather is perfect or if no other random plans come up. We need fans to commit themselves if we have any chance of growing.

Since NIU is charging $35 for a UNLV ticket, I assume we are on the sidelines somewhere.

When I called to order the tickets through the NIU ticket office, I requested to be seated in the higher numbered rows to get a better sideline view. Last year at Iowa, I sat in row 50 which was perfect to see the whole field...I was in row 38 at Purdue also which was perfect....
