Best receiving corps in the AAC?
There are a lot of good receiving corps in the AAC but the Coogs have one of, if not the best in the country. It's been a while since we've had so many NFL prospects lining up at once.

Carden's certainly not lacking for targets. Best not key in on Hardy too much!

Houston and ECU are the only ones that really have a claim to it, but let's be real.. Greenberry, Spencer, Ambles, Greg Ward, DeMarcus Ayers. There's no debate here.

ECU is in the conversation for individual best...
but ucf has a deep core, cincy has a deep core
and too a lesser extent uconn and usf (if you include the recruits) have a sorta argument theycan make
our league has the most biletnikoff watch list receivers above any other league
i feel comfortable saying its Houston but im sure other teams can make an argument

Hardy, Jones, Grayson, Worthy, Williams, Bruston, Brown, Jimmy Williams, Bagget, Thompson, Love have something to say about that.
Edit does include RB's who are very much apart of the passing game.

Oh, I bet ECU's 10th and 11th WRs are just insane good.
Outside of Hardy, I've never heard of any of them.

RE: Best receiving corps in the AAC?
How about we table this thread until the when the season is over and see who has the best receiving corps....
IS is it more fun to just berate every team other than the one you root for...

You're kidding right?
JJ Worton, Senior
47 Receptions 721 yards 15.3 avg 61 Long 7 TD's
he had 179 yards in this game alone.
Breshad Perriman, Junior
39 Receptions 811 yards 20.8 avg 91 long 4 TD's
Rannel Hall (2 TD's in the Fiesta Bowl alone) and Josh Reese (The Blocker in the GIF) Both Seniors
Combined for 78 Receptions 1138 yards ~ 13.5 avg and 6 TD's
Jackie Williams (UAB's Leading receiver in 2012) Senior
Jordan Akins (22 year old 6'4" 240lbs, True Freshman, former Minor league Baseball Player)
Then there's Stanback and our staple of HB / FB / TE's that are sure handed anywhere between 0-15 yards.
UCF has the best combination of experience, athleticism and talent at WR in this conference. Period.

Jones was the number 2 guy last year as true freshman, Grayson started 6 games before being injured, in his 1st 5 catches 4 were TD's, Worthy, Thompson, and Bryce Williams (he scored the TD against VT), are returners from last year. You will quickly learn Bruston and Jimmy Wilkiams' names as well as others. We lost only two top guys from last year, one was midway through the season, the other was Ray.

outside of greenberry and WR's on your team i doubt you could name any other WR in the league
there are 3 blue chip recruits in this league, 2 are in Houston (3rd is QB gunner Kiel in UC) the 2 in Houston are WR's
a 3rd WR was on the biletnikoff watchlist
a 4th WR as a true freshmen last year won the league's special teams player of the year for his returns (just to show you his ability)
and i could easily go on about the rest, like our wildcard qb who our coach says is one the fastes athletic players on our team will be a starting WR this year or the fact we redshirted our highest rated recruit last year who was also a WR

Don't care about star ratings or blue chips when the #2 pro prospect and #1 pro prospect WR in the conference was a former walk-on.
