RE: Best receiving corps in the AAC?
Can we all just admit, ECU is the greatest university in the universe, has the best QB and wide receivers. No one stands a chance against them this year. They will blow out UC this year, after all, UC lost to UNC last year. Yet, there is one QB who might make the pros and he does not play for ECU.

I think every fan base in the American is guilty of thoughts/feelings like this @ one time or another. Homerism is a real thing, and we all catch it!
The American has a good deal of exceptional WR's, and I would put them up against any other G5 conference without hesitation! Also against many of the $5 teams!
I had another point, but lost my train of thought! Up since 0330 with a sick little one.

I am just talking a bit of smack. ECU is homerism on steroids. Makes it fun. Shane is projected to go in the 5th or 6th round and his stock keeps climbing.

RE: Best receiving corps in the AAC?
Historically ECU has done very well at the WR position and I think we are only getting better. Although impossible to predict i think we have 3 current NFL draft picks on the roster. It's definitely the most talent we have ever had on the field at the position
BTW my three picks would be Hardy, Jones, Brown

RE: Best receiving corps in the AAC?
Cincy's could end up being better, but the ECU receivers performances against USC and VT give us the edge in this pointless argument vs Cincy dominating a MAC team. You guys do that to OSU and/or Miami and then it becomes a more fair comparison.

It's all good! I took it as you intended it! I'm a tad behind in the sleep-factor! On another note, I remembered my "missing thought" from earlier: I would LOVE to see some kind of competition/playoff-type format between all the G5 All Conference Teams.....maybe in lieu of some of the minor bowls! THAT would be fun!

RE: Best receiving corps in the AAC?
the entire basis of you guys argument is based around games and opponents, which is ridiculous on 2 points
1) if megatron played a mac schedule and does great and jason witten plays an acc schedule and does good, does that mean jason witten is the better reciever?
2) you guys are adding qb play and style of offense to "how good your WR's are".. if andre johnson and megatron play for tebow in power run offense those that mean they are bettter WR's than jason witten on an air raid with manning who will put up crazy stats?
