It's called good PR, the Sun Belt and MWC commissioners are out railing against this and he is saying good for them. Takes a bit of piss out of their sails. He knows what's really happening just using media against them

The game that all AD's who are in the AAC play is to talk about how great the AAC is while trying their best to get out of the AAC.

Mike Slive coulda said the same thing not too many years ago in his previous role, but then he got paid a lot more money and makes statements about this autonomy that end with..."Being good for the student athlete".

All these folks make so much cash now, they usually just tote the company line.

The whole thing is such a sham, that I'm losing interest every year.

I'll say what I've said all along. Our best chance at inclusion is getting the best basketball schools from the big east, American & Mwc & form one hell of a basketball only league that could make the basketball side a 6 league power structure.
