Just curious if any of you have heard how many illegal alien border children are being sent to your area? It was announced that the Upstate of SC will be receiving 125 or so.

Interesting thing is that the Federal Gov't will not communicate with the Governor on where and when they will be arriving in our state.

Oddly enough, as a state the borders Texas, I haven't heard of any being sent this way... Here's to hoping!

Well they will be sent to larger school district areas. This way those schools will be able to absorb them from age 7-20, since those are the ages that are coming to the Palmetto State. Tic..tock...tic to all us parents that don't want our children to become ill.

This not only is a school concern, but what is the plan for the 20 year olds except becoming Gang-Land recruits?

Our church has been caring for 171 for a couple of weeks now.

Haven't seen any, but they seem to flock to Richmond and Northern Virginia more than here for some reason.

And the schools now have to hire more teachers that habla.

We received some in Tennessee a week or two ago, without the state being told in advance.

They just closed down the Ft Sill unit, but nobody knows where they took those kids. I imagine they will be in our school systems by fall.

I've heard that schools in VA are paying big money for bilingual teachers. How much does a teacher make in va?
