Seems like no matter the popularity of the school... teams with the state names in them (Wyoming, Montana, Delaware) do well.

Marshall is the only CUSA school in the top 75... that doesn't really surprise me - what surprises me is that two Sun Belt teams are ranked higher, along with about half the American and Mountain West conferences.

Bones,
The article you posted, though odd the top line says 2014, is actually from 2006 (using sales from 2004-05 and talking about th upcoming We Are Marshall movie). Actually, Marshall used to be in the top 50 (during Marshall's amazing winning streak).

HUNTINGTON -- Cory Richardson's love for Marshall dates way back to his childhood.
Now, as Christmas quickly approaches, Richardson is busy shopping for anything and everything green and white for his young family.
"I already have tons of Marshall stuff," Richardson said. "But, I think the movie has helped people pick up a lot of interest in it."
With "We Are Marshall" hitting theaters, many Huntington area stores are selling out of Marshall gear.

Did anyone else notice Ohio State is not on the list? I believe they don't license their logo out, or at least on a very limited basis.

Seems like a good place to ask FAU/FIU fans, ill be staying in West Palm Beach next week, where are the best places to find decently priced shirts for your respective teams?

A national ranking of colleges that doesn't include Ohio State or USC? seems legit.

Schools that do private licensing agreements are not listed. Ohio State would be at or close to the top of this list. I am sure there are many others. While being on the list is a good thing, the numerical placement is suspect.

That is a list for The Collegiate Licensing Company, IMG’s licensing affiliate. Obviously not all schools are contracted with this company for merchandise licensing. There are a couple of other licensing companies out there and I think some Universities handle their own licensing as well.
So this list represents the rankings only for the schools contracted with CLC.

In West Palm Beach you will not find FIU apparel. I suggest you do that on line.
